Cardiff International Festival of Musical Theatre 2005

The Work
The Agency was briefed to raise profile of this prestigious three week event with a very limited budget. Whilst excessive media relations was used, the Agency negotiated with local media, certain hotels and producers of events to run a series of competitions.
The Effect
Over 1,000 entries were received from a total of thirteen special promotion advertisements run in local South Wales media. Additionally media coverage was obtained showing winners receiving their vouchers.

The Work
Having worked for this client for over twelve months on a specific PR brief, the Agency was asked to provide an objective view of the marketing strategy currently being used by the company, which supplies a range of children’s feeding products. Focus groups were recruited and industry market research used to present a new Marketing Strategy.
The Effect
The client was extremely impressed by the strategy put forward and is currently adopting key aspects in order to capitalize on marketing opportunities highlighted by the Agency.

MARKET RESEARCH

The Experience Project Redditch

The Work
The ‘client’, a joint development between Cardiff based Atlantic Beacon and Redditch Borough Council, requested an urgent market research project to support a planning application for this £80million leisure/training facility. The Agency produced questionnaires, recruited interviewers and managed exercise.
The Effect
Nearly 5,000 positive reactions for the development were received from a cross-section of Redditch residents and visitors. Outline planning has been granted and a public enquiry has been held in November 2005, the results of which will be released in early 2006 which will determine whether the project will proceed as part of the overall Redditch master plan.
