Rob
Petersen - Managing Director

With over 30 years experience in marketing services and agency
management predominantly in Wales, Rob has won a number of marketing and advertisement
effectiveness awards including Precision Marketing’s Best National Newspaper Campaign
for direct response, a regional I.P.A. Effectiveness Award for the Royal Mint campaign
and a Chartered Institute of Marketing award for the Harleyford Golf Resort campaign.
Rob oversaw numerous public information campaigns for the Welsh Office and the National
Assembly for Wales including Community Charge, Salmonella, and Referendum campaigns, and
also led the very successful team which originally launched the St. David’s Hotel & Spa,
establishing it as a Cardiff Bay landmark with over £1million of media coverage during
its first week of opening.
Cerys
Palmer - Account Manager

Cerys graduated in 2001 with a BA (Hons) in Promotions and gained
employment at Joe Public Relations in London working with clients such as Woolworths,
3, ebay, The Football Association and Umbro. Subsequently Cerys worked for Marks and
Spencer as consultant press officer in the menswear division before moving to Limelight
Projects, an event management company, where she managed the Charity PR for BT Community
Connections Awards. In April 2004 Cerys joined Ogilvy, where she worked with high profile
brands including: Seven Seas, Malaysia Airlines, BA London Eye, Castrol, Sony BMG
Entertainment and Comfort.
Cerys decided to return to Wales as a Consultant at Working Word Public Relations and joined Petersens in May 2006.
Cath
Clarke - Account Assistant

Cath has been working with Rob for over
six years. She spent ten
years working for Lloyds Bank after completing a secretarial course at Christie College,
Cheltenham. She has also worked as a travel advisor for both a chain and an independent
tour operator.
Cath is actively involved in the cancer charity Tenovus, sitting on both the local
fundraising committee and the head office fundraising steering committee.
Ruth Parry – Consultant Welsh Language
Ruth Parry began her career as a teacher for six years
in Cardiff and spent two years teaching in the Anglo – English School in
Libya. She launched ‘Si – lwli’, the only Welsh speaking day nursery in
Cardiff in 1991 – 2001 and has been a Govenor of Ysgol Gyfan Gymraeg Plasmawr
Cardiff since 1997.
Ruth has produced numerous programmes for the BBC with an
education element including a seminar on the new Education Act 1998 and its
effects. Ruth works closely with Rob Petersen on the St Athan Metrix account
and attends exhibitions as required as Welsh language representative. Ruth
also works with Rob Petersen on the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Editorial
and Publicity Committee.
Catrin Roberts – Welsh Translator
Catrin has worked with Petersens for over five years and undertakes the
majority of the translations required. She has a BA (Hons) in Welsh and has
worked for the Welsh Assembly Government, BBC Wales, Ofcom and Wales Millennium
Centre to name a few. Catrin lives in Cardiff and is a member of the Association
of Welsh Translators and Interpreters.
Dawn Bounsall – Copywriter/Creative Director
Dawn has worked with Rob Petersen on and off for twenty years.
She is a copywriter and has worked for McCann Erickson and Saatchi and Saatchi,
as well as Petersens. Dawn has produced award winning direct response campaigning
for the Royal Mint and has worked on Public Information Campaigns for the
Central Office of Information, Welsh Office, Cardiff Bay Development Corporation
as well as numerous retail and commercial clients.
Sarah Vining – Senior Consultant
Has worked with Petersens on various client projects. Is an
experienced marketing consultant who gained her experience working as Head of
Marketing for the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, Director of Valleys Arts
Marketing and Marketing/PR Manager for Techniquest.
Esyllt Mair Dafydd – Senior Consultant
Bilingual Welsh, Wales-based PR consultant who has worked
in-house and in consultancy in London for clients including Capita Group Plc,
South African Tourism, BT Global Financial Services, Tata Group, Delta Airlines
and Amadeus.
Esyllt not only creates PR strategies but can execute them
via her significant experience in media relations, online PR and issues
management etc.
Rebecca Gould – Account Executive
A graduate from Cardiff University, Becci has gained
experience working for Lendlease property company, Cardiff-based Timto,
The Stroke Association, Go Wales and Buzz Magazine. Her administration and
creative writing skills and personality make her an ideal account executive
who works on a number of agency clients.
Sandie Keyden – Account Executive
An ex work experience ‘graduate’ from Petersens Sandie
graduated from the University of Aberdeen and Cardiff School of Journalism.
Sandie joined Quadrant PR and then moved to Equinox Public Relations and
worked in a busy PR Consultancy until marrying and having a baby, and is
now working with Petersens as an account executive.
