Rob
Petersen - Managing Director

With over 30 years experience in marketing services and agency
management predominantly in Wales, Rob has won a number of marketing and advertisement
effectiveness awards including Precision Marketing’s Best National Newspaper Campaign
for direct response, a regional I.P.A. Effectiveness Award for the Royal Mint campaign
and a Chartered Institute of Marketing award for the Harleyford Golf Resort campaign.
Rob oversaw numerous public information campaigns for the Welsh Office and the National
Assembly for Wales including Community Charge, Salmonella, and Referendum campaigns, and
also led the very successful team which originally launched the St. David’s Hotel & Spa,
establishing it as a Cardiff Bay landmark with over £1million of media coverage during
its first week of opening.
Jill Roberts -
Senior Consultant

With a career in communications and PR spanning more than 20 years, Jill
has a wide-ranging portfolio of experience gained through working with companies and
organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors.
From her early days promoting tourism in Wales, Jill has freelanced as a features writer
for the Western Mail and has taken on consultancy roles supporting clients as varied as
Health Promotion Wales, ITV Digital, Heritage Lottery Fund, Westbury Homes, First Great
Western and Cardiff Council.
Jill was PR manager for LG Semiconductor Wales and provided internal and external
communications support for Swansea NHS Trust. In 1996 she ran a breast cancer awareness
campaign for Welsh charity Tenovus and has a strong interest in education through her role
as chair of governors to a Vale of Glamorgan primary school.
Cerys
Palmer - Account Manager

Cerys graduated in 2001 with a BA (Hons) in Promotions and gained
employment at Joe Public Relations in London working with clients such as Woolworths,
3, ebay, The Football Association and Umbro. Subsequently Cerys worked for Marks and
Spencer as consultant press officer in the menswear division before moving to Limelight
Projects, an event management company, where she managed the Charity PR for BT Community
Connections Awards. In April 2004 Cerys joined Ogilvy, where she worked with high profile
brands including: Seven Seas, Malaysia Airlines, BA London Eye, Castrol, Sony BMG
Entertainment and Comfort.
Cerys decided to return to Wales as a Consultant at Working Word Public Relations and joined Petersens in May 2006.
Dana Hashem - Account Executive

Having graduated with a 2.1 in English Literature from Cardiff University in 2007,
Dana is the newest recruit to the Petersens team. While completing her studies, Dana worked as an
administrator for Cardiff careers service and supported her interest in marketing and PR through placements
with Ebury Publishing, Triptych Marketing and The Stroke Association. During her time at university, Dana
also completed a series of case studies for the university’s careers magazine in her capacity as a student
journalist for GTI Guides.
Dana continues her relationship with The Stroke Association charity, and is a voluntary member of its
newly established Events Organisation Committee.
Cath
Clarke - Account Assistant

Cath has been working with Rob for over
six years. She spent ten
years working for Lloyds Bank after completing a secretarial course at Christie College,
Cheltenham. She has also worked as a travel advisor for both a chain and an independent
tour operator.
Cath is actively involved in the cancer charity Tenovus, sitting on both the local
fundraising committee and the head office fundraising steering committee.
